Postnatal course online - What do I need to look out for?

Postnatal course online - What do I need to look out for?

Your body has performed at its best during labour. Once the first few weeks have passed, it's time to help your body regenerate. With an online postnatal course, you can decide for yourself when and where you want to do your postnatal exercises. Our midwife Katharina explains what you need to look out for.

The Postnatal recovery is important so that your body can restore all functions. The gap between the abdominal muscles should close again and the pelvic floor muscles need to be strengthened. A course with a midwife in your area lasts just ten hours. Many women often don't manage to attend all the sessions. If you have booked a postnatal course with a baby, it is even more difficult to do all the exercises properly. An online postnatal course is therefore perfect because you can organise your time freely and repeat the exercises as often as you like.

Rückbildungskurs online - Worauf muss ich achten?

Online postnatal course with midwife Katharina

Our midwife Katharina has been looking after mums before, during and after birth for over twenty years. She has often seen women still struggling with physical restrictions even years after giving birth. The topic of incontinence after pregnancy often comes up, because if the pelvic floor is not strengthened again, this can lead to bladder weakness, incontinence or even a lowering of the uterus into the vagina in the long term.

The statutory health insurance companies pay for ten hours of postnatal classes. However, this number of hours is not enough to train all areas of the body. Our midwife Katharina has therefore developed a postnatal course that you can do online. Because ten hours is not enough, she has developed 22 hours for you. You can repeat them as often as you like. This allows you to plan your postnatal sessions in a targeted manner. You can increase your pace. All exercises are also available as individual sequences. If you like, you can put together your own individual training session and still work specifically on your postnatal training.

You decide how long you need. This online programme is available to you for at least six months. If you want to practise for longer, simply continue to book the course.

Advantages of a digital recovery course

As a mum, you don't have much time. You are often so tired in the evening that you just want to go to bed. Going to a postnatal course and doing exercises now seems too exhausting. And that's understandable. Our midwife Katharina knows the needs of a new mum and knows that you often don't have the time or inclination to think about postnatal classes in the evening. However, it is more difficult to convince your baby of the benefits of the planned postnatal classes than it is to motivate yourself. Your baby is not yet able to stick to regular routines. Your baby doesn't mean that in a bad way. It just needs you often and at irregular times. You can adjust to this. Your postnatal training doesn't have to be neglected. The online postnatal course not only adapts to you, but also to the needs of your baby.

Our midwife Katharina has developed the postnatal course especially for you and your baby. You can do it online at any time. In over 50 exercises and lessons, she shows you how to slowly and gradually get your body fit again in 22 hours. The exercises can be done anytime and anywhere and adapt to your fitness level. You can do the first exercises while you are still in labour and then gradually become more and more intensive.

This online postnatal course is perfect for training after the birth. You can also do it as a supplement to the postnatal course with your midwife.

Exercises in the online postnatal course

Our midwife Katharina will show you various exercises that vary in intensity. You will train all the important areas of your body. The "Rocky Balboa" exercise trains the legs, pelvic floor, buttocks, back and arms. It also activates your circulation and strengthens your stamina.

You can watch the videos as often as you like, because the online postnatal course is not only the perfect training for the six months after the birth, but it also offers you suitable exercises to strengthen different areas of your body later on.

You can watch the videos as often as you like. This way you won't forget any exercises and can stay on the ball. You will receive access to the course immediately after booking and can exchange ideas with our midwife and other mums in a closed Facebook group. The costs for the online postnatal course are covered by a number of health insurance companies. If it's important to you, it's best to find out in advance whether your health insurance company also cares about your postnatal training and will cover the costs of the online postnatal course.

As a midwife, sleep coach for babies and children and first aid trainer, I help women and parents to organise their pregnancy, birth and time as parents in a good and relaxed way. I am a mum of two adorable children myself.

Children should be able to grow safely and securely. To achieve this, they need strong parents who support their children's development with knowledge and intuition. My midwifery support should give parents the knowledge and confidence to find and follow their own individual path.
