Your body has performed at its best during labour. Once the first few weeks have passed, it's time to help your body regenerate. With an online postnatal course, you can decide for yourself when and where you want to do your postnatal exercises. Our midwife Katharina explains what you need to look out for.
The Postnatal recovery is important so that your body can restore all functions. The gap between the abdominal muscles should close again and the pelvic floor muscles need to be strengthened. A course with a midwife in your area lasts just ten hours. Many women often don't manage to attend all the sessions. If you have booked a postnatal course with a baby, it is even more difficult to do all the exercises properly. An online postnatal course is therefore perfect because you can organise your time freely and repeat the exercises as often as you like.

Online postnatal course with midwife Katharina
Our midwife Katharina has been looking after mums before, during and after birth for over twenty years. She has often seen women still struggling with physical restrictions even years after giving birth. The topic of incontinence after pregnancy often comes up, because if the pelvic floor is not strengthened again, this can lead to bladder weakness, incontinence or even a lowering of the uterus into the vagina in the long term.
The statutory health insurance companies pay for ten hours of postnatal classes. However, this number of hours is not enough to train all areas of the body. Our midwife Katharina has therefore developed a postnatal course that you can do online. Because ten hours is not enough, she has developed 22 hours for you. You can repeat them as often as you like. This allows you to plan your postnatal sessions in a targeted manner. You can increase your pace. All exercises are also available as individual sequences. If you like, you can put together your own individual training session and still work specifically on your postnatal training.
You decide how long you need. This online programme is available to you for at least six months. If you want to practise for longer, simply continue to book the course.
Advantages of a digital recovery course
As a mum, you don't have much time. You are often so tired in the evening that you just want to go to bed. Going to a postnatal course and doing exercises now seems too exhausting. And that's understandable. Our midwife Katharina knows the needs of a new mum and knows that you often don't have the time or inclination to think about postnatal classes in the evening. However, it is more difficult to convince your baby of the benefits of the planned postnatal classes than it is to motivate yourself. Your baby is not yet able to stick to regular routines. Your baby doesn't mean that in a bad way. It just needs you often and at irregular times. You can adjust to this. Your postnatal training doesn't have to be neglected. The online postnatal course not only adapts to you, but also to the needs of your baby.
